Version .92 Released!


.9.2 Release Notes

Version .9.2 is here, a little later than I planned, but that’s how the last few months have gone. This release fixes a couple of small typos and some layout problems, as well as adding a good amount of new content. As well, with the advent of two new Traits, the Character Sheet has been updated. So, make sure to grab that when you download the new manual.

So, without any more blather, let’s get into it:

Facets

Two new Facets have been added Physical→React and Tech→Craft. Both Facets have entries in the new character sheet and in the Traits and Facets Chapter.

React determines how quickly characters respond to a surprise. Success at React allows players to roll Feats of Agility or Rumble or other Facets that respond to a surprise. Failures mean that they are caught off guard and can’t react.

Craft allows characters to make things out of raw materials like metal, wood, clay, etc. It fills in the gap left by mechanical, electronics, and computers.

 Quirks

Quirks have undergone a big reorganization. Ten new Quirks (mostly negative) have been added. A few have been modified to make them a little more interesting. The Quirks have been put into lists according to their values, and the rules have been rewritten to make the whole thing a little clearer.

 Modifications

Center Mass changed from +1 to +2 and modified the peace of mind roll for shooting.

Manipulator adds a Fortune point for success in social conflict.

Quick Feet changed to affect React and Feat of Agility instead of just Feat of Agility.

 

Optional Rule: D12

A new optional rule has been added to dice rolling to mitigate big dice piles.

 

Destinations

A chapter on Destinations has been added after Monsters.
